Privacy Policy

Last updated September 8, 2026

PsychMentalHealth is an independent educational resource. We try to collect as little information as possible, and we'll always be straightforward about what we do collect. This page explains it in plain language.

What we collect

When you use our contact form. We collect the information you choose to give us — your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. Our form-processing provider may also record the IP address and browser information (user-agent) of the device used to submit the form, to help prevent spam and abuse.

When you simply read the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics, two privacy-friendly analytics tools. Neither uses cookies, and neither collects any personal information. They only give us anonymous, aggregate counts (like how many people viewed a page). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.

How we use your information

  • To read and respond to messages you send us.
  • To keep the site secure and reduce spam.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which resources are most helpful.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Where your information is stored

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, which delivers them to the site operator's email inbox; access is restricted to the site's operator. These providers process this data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep contact submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and keep our own records. You can ask us to delete your message at any time through the contact form.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information you've sent us, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form. Because we collect so little, most requests are simple to honor.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

A reminder about what this site is

PsychMentalHealth is not a healthcare provider, and the contact form is not a medical or crisis service. Please don't share sensitive health details you wouldn't want in an email. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
