Oaks screens adults and youth at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, 2201 Chapel Avenue, Cherry Hill, and asks that you call before visiting. Some directories still list Cooper University Health Care as Camden County's screening center. That is out of date. To find ongoing care, NJMentalHealthCares (1-866-202-4357, every day, 8am to 8pm) costs nothing and is not a crisis line. If cost is the obstacle, Project H.O.P.E., 519–525 West Street, Camden, 856-968-2320, is a federally qualified health center that serves patients regardless of ability to pay.

Cost: Screening centers evaluate people in a psychiatric emergency whether or not they have insurance.
Two addresses circulate for Oaks. The state's screening list gives Oaks' office address, 501 Cooper Landing Road. Oaks' own locations page places its Camden County crisis screening at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, which is the address above. Call 856-428-4357 before going anywhere.

Its locations page says the 813 Ferry Ave site will be temporarily closed from October 30 to November 13, 2026, and shows its North, South, and Paulsboro sites as closed temporarily in one list and with hours in another. Four levels of care: full-day partial hospitalization for ages 5 to 14, after-school intensive outpatient for ages 5 to 13, a therapeutic nursery for ages 3 and 4, and outpatient care for ages 3 to 25.
Cost: Virtua says the CASTLE program accepts Medicaid and private insurance. NJ FamilyCare is delivered through several health plans, so confirm yours when you call. If you are uninsured, ask about financial assistance.

Outpatient, intensive outpatient, and adult partial care, plus residential services, community support, and case management, including round-the-clock crisis support for people enrolled in its community support services. Runs a specialized residential program for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
